Only this year, the Big Bag Defence System was supplied to protect one of Xcel Energy Plants largest power plants based in the State of Illinois.
As the major threat of floods hit Illinois, the Xcel Energy plant could not take the chance of risking leaving one of their major plants unprotected from the floods.
They needed to form a barrier wall of significant height to ensure it was protected properly and on viewing the product, they realised it was the ideal solution as the systems could be stacked to achieve the height they required.
If the Xcel Energy power plant were to get flooded, then there would have been many homes and businesses been without power, not to mention the safety risks that people would be left susceptible to should a potential disaster of this nature occurred.
