Big Bag Defence System In Action – Netherlands (2011)
The Big Bag Defence System was deployed to protect the medieval town of Deventer.
When the river Ijssel broke its bank, the system was deployed extensively along the river bank and through the main thoroughfare Welle.
It protected 5000 habitants as well as businesses and residences.
